How to keep the legend alive

GODIVA’s delicious chocolates don’t typically make it past our doors, but since you’ll be lucky enough to receive them from our store, here are some tips for keeping them fresh:

Keep it cool

Make sure you keep your chocolates in a dry, cool place (temperatures between 15-18 degrees with low humidity) and keep them away from direct light or heat sources to prevent them from melting.

Wrap it up

If storing in the fridge is necessary (i.e. during warmer weather), place the chocolates in an airtight container and return it to room temperature before consuming.

Distance is key

The cocoa butter in GODIVA chocolate is like a sponge, absorbing everything in the near vicinity, so be sure to keep your chocolate away from garlic, spices or perfumed products (i.e. soap) as this might affect the flavour.

Don’t wait

Sure, you can take all these precautions to stop our chocolates from going bad, but the sooner you eat them, the better they’ll taste!
